Cooperation provides organizations with one-stop shop for B2B- and B2C-billing flows.
AcceptEmail and Basware signed a partner agreement enabling enterprises to send out digital payment requests to SMEs and consumers. Consumers receive an AcceptEmail payment request digitally via mail, SMS, social or online that can be completed with a few mouse clicks without registration or log-in.
Dany De Budt, Country Manager Belgium & Netherlands Basware: “The cooperation with AcceptEmail enables Basware to channel all B2B, B2G and B2C-invoices. An ideal solution for companies that are active in both consumer and corporate markets. The divisions Financial Services and Insurance Services of Mercedes-Benz can now send all their outgoing bills in the right format from one single environment.
In the Mercedes-Benz case drivers receive digital payment requests with the key invoice data included and a smart payment banner. The key invoice data, including the amount, invoice number, expiry date, beneficiary and description, are secure and clear displayed in the payment banner. Clicking the payment button, the customer authorizes the payment in a safe environment without any re-keying of information. This one click payment results in quicker incoming payments, improvement of working capital, easier debtors matching, lower DSO and no incorrect or late payments. On top of that companies such as Mercedes-Benz can now trace the status of the payments of their customers in real-time. Billing and customer service staff have insight into whether customers have received, opened and paid the bills.”
Peter Kwakernaak, CEO AcceptEmail: “We are proud of this partnership. Basware and AcceptEmail are market leaders in their respective space. We both have a focus on household names with an international footprint and share the same mission: facilitate digital billing and payments for companies and creating a frictionless bill payment experience for their customers.”
Jos Wellema, Director Network Business Area Basware, concludes: “Before we had to say mostly “no” when potential customers asked us if we could also service B2C-invoices. The partnership with AcceptEmail changes that and we can now invoice ‘360 degrees’. Sectors such as insurance, telecom and utility that support B2B-, B2C- and B2(Small)B-customers provide a tremendous potential for Basware.”
